Thanks for your wonderful New Year's post. Never fails to amaze me how my body tolerated drinks like rum. Since the onset of menopause, my body has no tolerance for alcohol at all! I loved your story about Georgian silver. I was reminded of Jane Austen's family and I wonder if they had Georgian silver too?
