These past few weeks I have had my head down, trawling through archives, and dusty photograph albums and reading long forgotten and fascinating letters sent to my mother, in hopes of gathering more and more insight into her nearly 95 years of life.

This story particularly stands out, especially when I stumbled onto the photograph of my grandmother kissing my mother goodbye…..
