I had read up a bit on Ted-like talks. Try to turn what you have to say into a story that will keep your audience engaged, but delivered in a sharp, tight 15 minutes. Tough.

I had been invited to speak at the United Nations Climate Conference in Azerbaijani about my involvement with Global Empowerment Mission in the disaster sector.

I was very clear to say that whilst being conscious about climate change I know no more than the average person, I was there to share my experiences of working for a relief and recovery agency.
